I feel very overwhelmed!!!! I need help with booking some meals. We stay offsite, but have annual passes this year. This is our 3rd trip in one year. We are not big eaters, but we have the Disney Dining Experience Card or Now known as Tables In Wonderland Card.
We are not big breakfast eaters. We usually only eat one big meal a day. Either a late lunch or early supper. There are 3 Adults and two kids 10 & 8.
We have only eaten at the following TS Places over the years:
Crystal Palace: 2005: Lunch, Very Good, but my kids would not enjoy it as much now.
Nine Dragons: 2007: Supper, Good
San Angel Inn: 2007 : Lunch, Liked It, but do not like the menu changes now.
Akershus: 2008: Lunch, Very Good, but my DD is done with Princesses and my DS is not interested.
Hollywood & Vine: 2008: Lunch, Did not like it!
Tusker House: Lunch Everytime. We love this lunch!
Kona Cafe: Supper 2008 Good
Whispering Canyon Cafe: 2008: Supper: Loved the entertainment, but food was just ok.
Rainforest Cafe: Both DTD & AK. Enjoyed DTD more.
T-Rex: 2008: Good
Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe: 2008:Lunch, Very Good

What we have booked so far for our upcoming May 2009 trip:
Chef Mickey's Supper
50's Prime Time Cafe Lunch
Liberty Tree Tavern Lunch
Tusker House Lunch
Biergarten Lunch
Kona Cafe Supper
T-Rex Supper

We will be there for 11 days and will eat offsite twice
So I am looking for at least two more meals or even more as I am not sure about:
50's Prime Time Cafe
Liberty Tree Tavern
Kona Cafe as we have done this before

Would we like Boma if we are already eating at Tusker House. Would it be too much of that type of food in the same 11 days?

Help, Help, Help!!!!!:confused3 :scared:

we had kids at Crystal Palace for dinner and we all enjoyed the place....The food is our main attraction though....the night buffet is excellent.....and if you dont want the characters just tell the CM that is your wait person.....
we go without the kids too.

You have a nice variety under your belt and can see some patterns to your preferred eating.
I'd suggest adding 1. Sci Fi in DHS for the experience. It's really Disney Magic at it's best and the burger-fry-malt menu is to die for. I love the rueben personally:goodvibes Do Lunch.
Also in DHS is 2. Mama Melrose. A wonderful old-world style Italian place that has hearty and fabulously tasty meals and fire-grilled pizza. Yum.
In MK, we love the simple fare of 3. Plaza (right behind the ice cream shop at the end of Main Street). in fact, you can order any ice cream concoction with your meal from the shop instead of having to stand in line for it.:cutie:
4. Ohanas in the Poly is a grand meal and they have fun dances and games for the kids every 40 minutes or so.
We are trying 5. BOMAs this year and looking forward to it. Take some time on allearsnet.com for the menu items.

I think 50's PTC is an excellent choice for the one meal a day plan. The meals are quite hearty and although I don't normally go for the hearty type of meals while on vacation, I do think 50's PTC has good food.

Liberty Tree Tavern is okay. I think the food at 50's is better but LTT has been okay all 3 times we've tried it.

I think Boma and Tusker House are different enough that I would feel comfortable doing both on the same vacation. We enjoy both and would have a tough time saying which of the two we prefer.

I think the dinner at Crystal Palace is pretty good, with or without the characters.

Have you considered Le Cellier at Epcot?

We LOVE 50s Prime Time. It is the one restaurant we must do every trip unless we are not going to DHS at all for some reason.
We enjoyed dinner at Biergarten.
We are unfamiliar with the rest of your choices, although we are considering several of them for our next trip.
We do really enjoy Flame Tree BBQ in AK. While it is a CS place, the food is very good, the servings very generous, and we schedule it in our plans like a TS just without an ADR.

Thank you for replies. Please if there are more ideas...keep them coming ;)
I have always wanted to try Sci Fi???? Opinions??
We have also done the Plaza as well and it was nice and good food.
Le Cellier we have not tried, but we eat alot of Canadian beef when home, so something different would be more what we are looking for.
Ohana opinions????
The only Resorts we have eaten at are Wilderness Lodge & Poly. Where else would you suggest???

Thanks for all the ideas. :flower3:
