Being new to DVC brings a lot of uncertainty for me so may I lean on some of the more experienced members for advice ?

We want to stay at BWV (our home resort) for the F&W Fest next October 9th - 14th. If I book it this coming Tuesday (11 month window) with 2010 points and then decide to cancel, say in April, I can still bank my points (December UY).

Am I right ??

With a December use year, October 2011 would be in your 2010 use year so if you use 2010 points, they will be returned to your account if you cancel 31 days or more before the arrival date and could be banked if you are within the banking window. You would have to bank by July 31, 2011.
