My two teens (16 & 20) and I will be arriving in Orlando on Sunday, 12-21, and staying till Saturday, the 26th. I have several questions. What would be the two best days to go to USF & IOA to avoid the largest crowds? Also, what will the weather be like? We're in the process of packing and aren't sure what we should take. Will it be warm enough to go to the water attractions or the beach? And what activities/restaurants would you recommend for Christmas day? If anyone could answer these questions for me as soon as possible, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thank you so much,
Gail

You may find xmas day a good day to go to the parks as I imagine the locals will have family etc to see and celebrate xmas leaving the parks free for tourists but if u are staying onsite it really shouldn't matter with FOTL have a great time as for restaurants u are spoiled for choice with HRC Magritville NBA etc all good fun places to eat and celebrate:jester:

Best days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Crowds are expected to be much bigger this week, as every school in the country should've had their last day yesterday.

Weather: varies. You're from MO, so you may see us locals all bundled up where as you think it's nice. It could be cold or warm, so pack for both. FL is extremely fickle this time of year. Bring a poncho for the water rides just in case...

Activites: go see the new LOTR movie.

DM - Our plans for Christmas night - ROTK at the Universal Cineplex at Citywalk! My partner saw it on Trilogy Tueday and is coming unglued to see it again.

Should be a pretty great way to spend Christmas.

What is ROTK? I have to agree Monday and Tuesday will be best. As far as beaches, it has been really cold. In the 30's, so it's not really beach weather.

Have a great trip!

It's work seeing, SH. Sure, it's a long movie (over 3.5hrs) but it is GOOD! And if has a teaser/trailer for SPIDER-MAN 2!!!!!

Spidey, I suggest you see the first two LOTR before you see ROTK.
