Help! Last minute "maybe" trip advice needed!

I am trying to plan a surprise trip for the end of February. I was able to find a super flight (3 round trip tickets for less than $90) for a 3 day "get away from Winter" trip with my two teenagers. Problem is, our ability to come will depend on the results of an end-season athletic competion. We will know results late on a Saturday, and the plan tickets leave Sunday afternoon.

If their team would do super well, we wouldn't come, and I'd eat the cheap airfare price. But I have no idea what to do about booking our 3 night Disney resort stay. I want to stay on property for the Magic Transport. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? If I cancel last minute, I'm fine with applying our deposit of one night's stay as a resort credit toward our summer trip - is that even possible? Should I book with Disney or try a last minute DVC Rental deal? Any advice would be great! Thanks so much!

Have you looked at Undercover Tourist? On their website, it says if you book through them and cancel, it's only a 5% cancellation fee.
