I am leaving today and just found out that I have to be "accessible" to my employer on Friday.

We will be at MK. I need to have my laptop as close as possible since I may have to update some excel files and reports, etc.

Can I bring my laptop INTO the park? I would put it in a locker. Will it fit?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

I don't see why you couldn't, but bear in mind that lockers can get broken into (not that I've seen it happen at Disney, but I have seen it at my local Six Flags), and that the laptop might not hold up in the heat and humidity of Florida lockers. How urgently would your boss need these reports? Could you go back to the room for an hour or so and log on from there?

Do the parks even have wi-fi access? I know that YC and I think Contemporary have wi-fi access in their lobbies...

No guest accessible WIFI in the parks you would have to use an "Aircard" type device.

I'd suggest the aircard too. My laptop has an imbedded aircard, so using it anywhere is very easy. Could you do that? Does your employer have a VPN that you could log into at one of the business centers so that perhaps you would not have to use/bring your laptop? Could you bring a smartphone (Blackberry, iPhone, etc.) instead. I know the keyboards are small, but in a pinch.....The WDW resorts have Internet access, but it is not free.

Thanks everyone. I have a blackberry and planned to tether it to connect to the internet and log in thru my employers VPN. My question now is, will they allow me to bring my laptop into the park? Thanks!
