Usually I have everything planned, this time I've done nothing (and I've got newbies going with me!). Can someone please explain the park hours to me? I see that normal hours for MK during Christmas week are 8 am to midnight. So does it mean on Christmas day with extra hours MK is really open from 7 am- ??

Thanks.

It can still be done. Just use the EMH and the resort transportation(if you are staying onsite) and allow plenty of time to get to where you want to go. Also, keep in mind that it is the busiest time of the year and expect waits and long lines. I have found if you go with that expectation you are not as disappointed. I have also suggested to people that you pick 3-4 must do things at each park that you are going to and concentrate on doing those things first. Then anything else that you get to do is a bonus! Take some time to visit the resorts and look at the decorations and enjoy the atmoshere.

Have a great time! WDW is awesome at Christmastime!!!

Very important to get to the parks 1/2 hour before opening, have a good touring plan (free sample plans on touringplans.com), take that midday break to enjoy touring all the resorts and their holiday finery, and see if you can make some ADRs now, lest you not eat at all. We're going during that time, too, and thoroughly enjoy the excitement of the time. We never bother with the EMH park, though. This time of year, that's just asking for more crowded conditions. Go to the park which had the late EMH the night before.

if you are going week of christmas get ready I called the other day to book another day and every hotel was SOLD OUT!!!!
So go early and stay late. Use fast pass as much as posssible.
And have FUN!!!!
even if it is crowded it is still Disney! :earsboy:
