HELP!! I've fallen into Dollar Tree....

Just had to make a trip out to school, and wouldn't you know it, had to pass right by the Dollar Tree! Eeeeee!

Well, today they finally got some more scrapbook stuff in. Packs of paper (5 sheets) and they're all (you guessed it!) ---CUTE! One is bandana print, another is a travel print, still another is pink hues with hearts. Got another one of those $1 12 X 12" scrapbooks too!

When I was done picking those things out, I couldn't help but wander the rest of the store. On the toy aisle I found some more of those little boxes of puzzles, this time with Spiderman. Yay! I think I can make a really neat 2 page layout with the 3-D stickers from Wal Mart and then this puzzle too. I also found a sweet (trying....not...to...say...cute...) Princess styled doll dress kit for an 11 1/2" doll. The dress itself is very simple, so I'm going to try to use it for a Princess layout. It also has a little wand, tiara and shoes. I'm trying hard to think outside the box here! Also saw the foam stickers of Easter designs (are those safe?)--really nice, but doesn't say acid free on the pkg.

Well, they got in more PEZ dispensers, and now have Pooh and a new Heffalumps PEZ! Cute!! (Sorry...) Little bunnies and chicks on tricycles with swirly pops in the back, Easter buckets and candies, jelly beans.....well, you can see where this one's going.

Finally got out of there in one piece, but not so sure I'll make it next time.....

I'm soooo lucky! We don't have any Dollar Tree stores around here. They're all Dollar Express, so I'm not even going to go check.

Me too, I spend so much there on scrapbook stickers and stuff. I found really nice Sandylion scrapbook stickers in Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Cinderella, Belle, Tink and Ariel. I also got some of the 3-d foam stickers. I was wondering the same, as they didnt' say acid free, but they did say scrapbooking. They are sure cute though. I didn't see the pez, I may just have to go back

I just wanted to add that since I've looked at the pictures for Sleeping Beauty on the Bargainpack.com site, I realized that the pink dress with the tulle skirt is perfect for princess page! The dress in this package is a very close resemblance to Sleeping Beauty's gown--the bodice part looks just like it. There are other colors, such as blue, so that would look cute for a Cinderella page. If you look for these they're in the toy aisle and the pkg. just says "Princess" at the top. I'm going to get the blue one too.

I agree about the foam stickers. It did say great for scrapbooking, just didn't specify if it was acid free or not. I'm still learning, so my idea about using the Barbie doll-type dresses on a page may not work, but I'm going to try it anyway. I bought two pkgs. of those Easter stickers.

I think that the dresses are such a cute idea! I would've never thought of that and that is something you'd spend $5 on at Michaels, just because it had some sticky foam on the back, LOL

i don't know why they wouldn't sounds just like jolees to me, but just no sticky on back.

Oops! I forgot to post today that I also found an X-Acto like cutting kit at the Dollar Tree. For a buck I think I'm going to give it a try.
