We are taking our girls to WDW and a Disney cruise in March 2012! We really want to squeeze in one day at Universal, since they've never been.

I've been looking for the best prices, CAA advertises a discount, but it's really the same price the Universal website sells them for.

I looked at UT and they are actually $3. more than Universal.

I have found a couple of Orlando websites that advertise a cheaper rate, but don't know if I should trust them!:surfweb:

My main ? is though, I see there are 2 parks now and thru some googling I also see there is a citywalk you also pay extra for? Is this right?

Hello,

Citywalk is shops and restaurants. there are Nightclubs for a fee at Night. There are 2 parks. Islands of Adventure (featuring Harry Potter) and Universal Studios. I know they offer a park hopper however in March being that it is spring break it may take you 2 days to get through both of them.

the prices on the universal website don't include tax and fees. The UT website does.

If you go to up mid to late march, you will run into spring break crowds.

Book now if u plan to stay onsite at UO

Thank you!

We are not staying on site, and the hotel I booked thru Priceline:thumbsup2

We wouldn't be going to the boardwalk at night, so it's free during the day then?

I was just confused at all the differant ways of pricing it! So I really only need to purchase the 1 day 2

park access then...:confused3

We will be there on March 5th, 2012, not sure if anyone has March Break that week or not. It is the week before our March Break here.

I think I need to read up on US a little more, I'm so used to WDW!!:surfweb:

CityWalk is free during the day. You can buy 1-day/2-park access, but just be aware that's a lot of ground to cover. If Harry Potter is your thing, then you want to focus on Islands of Adventure 'cause that's where it is.

I was at the parks in early March this year and I found the crowds manageable--the spring break crowds haven't usually hit in full force then.

Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure CityWalk is ALWAYS free to enter (although of course, you have to pay to do almost anything there besides walk through it).

The other thing about CityWalk is that you have to pay for parking, unlike DTD which has free parking.

So if you are not going at night, then make sure its worth the parking fee for a walk round during the day. We usually just do it when we are on our way to or from US or IOA
