We were planning on doing Epcot on the 3/22 only to just find out that Spectro is being shown that night and it's the only one during our stay!!!! How long is the Spectro parade? Is it possible to leave Epcot around 5 ish, head to MK, stake out a Spectro seat , watch parade at 7:15, and get back over to Epcot for Illuminations at 9???????

I think it is possible, but you will really need to hurry back to EPCOT after the parade and you may not get a great spot for Illuminations. I wouldn't try it if I had children in strollers - too stressful for me!

Try to get a spot for Spectro as close to the MK entrance as you can. That way you will be among the first to leave. You'll need to get to the TTC and then get on the monorail to EPCOT. That will take about 45 minutes if you don't have to wait too long to get on the monorail/ferry to the TTC and then on the EPCOT monorail. You'll have to hurry to WS to find a spot - probably won't be "front row", though.

Good luck!

Sounds doable to me. When we saw Spectromagic in January, it ran the reverse path of the afternoon parade. If that's still the case, it will travel down Main Street first. If you're positioned somewhere along that route, you should be able to exit the MK by 7:45. Two monorail trips later you'll be at EPCOT.

If you stay near the entrance to MK, you should be able to be out of MK by 7:45 at the latest. Then you you should be able to get to Epcot my 8:30, but you won't get a GREAT seat for Illuminations. Why don't you try to catch Illuminations another night on during your stay? They show it every night, so you won't have to worry when you see it, like Spectro, which is usually only shown once a week in the slow months.

You can do it, just follow the advice given and you will make it!

Have Fun!

I agree with trying to catch Illuminations on another night, but if you insist on trying this, remember that if you go by monorail you will have to ride the first monorail to TTC then transfer and go to Epcot monorail, and then walk through Future World. If I were trying this, I'd leave MK and go directly to the bus to Boardwalk or Yacht Club and walk over to International Gateway entrance to Epcot from there.

I thought about the bus too , but I think you would have to time it just right with the bus being there as you walked up to board.

The bus also stops at the Swan, Dolphin, YC, BC, and BWI.

Good luck!

The bus is a good idea - IMHO, better than going through the TTC. It will avoid waiting for more than one form of transportation and will probably be a lot less crowded than leaving for the TTC.

If the bus service is combined for the BWI, BWV, YC, BC, Swan & Dolphin Hotels, get off at the Swan (first stop) and walk to the IG entrance of EPCOT. The IG entrance is between the France and British pavillions. As noted, you won't have to walk through Future World to get to the WS - you'll already be there after you enter EPCOT!

At closing, the MK bus service for the Swan & Dolphin is usually separate from the other hotels. If so, jump on whatever bus comes first and get off at the first stop. That will be the YC if you get on the BWV, BWI, BC & YC bus. You can then walk to the IG entrance from there.

Good luck!
