Help - Info needed - anyone know a local wheelchair rental company?

Hi all -
Usually I have a lot of the answers, this time I need help answering a question! hehe

I have a guest who is staying with us next month who requires a wheelchair to rent during their stay / visit. Their question, is it better to rent one in the parks or rent one from a local company in advance of their stay?

(I'm thinking definitely rent one in advance, if you need one, I can't imagine having to get all the way into MK each day without one!).

Anyhow, does anyone have or know of any good local companies that do this sort of thing? Do they deliver to the home?

I know that some folks find the people on the disabilities board helpful for these questions. No personal experience.

The Disability Board has lots of info on this as the PP mentioned. I used Care Medical for rental of other equipment, and was very happy with them. They customer service was wonderful. All of my dealings both on the phone and in person when picking up and dropping off the equipment I had rented were very pleasant! (I live locally, and the equipment was not something I needed to have delivered!)

The disABILITIES FAQs thread has a section about renting ECVs and wheelchairs, both from the parks and the outside companies that DIS posters have consistently posted good experiences with. There are phone numbers and website links to 5 different companies.
