I've reached a point of laziness concerning my wedding planning. I have so much going on right now....I'm getting ready to buy a new house, starting nursing school, and basically just everything else that I've kinda veered off track with my planning. So far I've booked Randy, my officiant, Beaute Speciale, and made all my dinner reservations. I'm getting married on 11/16/2007 and have so far refused to try on wedding gowns....I've gained weight over the last six months and I won't be able to even enjoy gown shopping with the extra weight. I'm trying to diet....which consists of making myself drink water, and 3 meals a day...usually raisen bran for breakfast, a subway sandwhich for lunch, and usually for dinner I have whatever I cook for my family but in small portions AND I've recently ordered Billy Blanks Tae Bo so I can't wait for that to come in. I just don't know if I should try on dresses now or wait until I drop weight. I still need to pick out my Flower Girls dress and my MOH. I'm just very laid back and not really stressed at all...but is that a bad thing?? Sorry I'm venting...but I just need some encouragment and advice...thanks :)

Jessica, u are so very pretty!

Well, I was lax about my plans about a month ago, but now I'm back!

I think you are entitled to slack every other month  (and you've booked the most important stuff anyway-why worry so much??)

About the weight- Don't slack off on that!!! You only plan to get married once, right? Go try on dresses!!!

have fun!!! you don't want to slack off on your dress, you want to make sure you pic the best one for you and if you drop a little weight then just have them alter it - that's what I'm doing (Darn skippy! I have 5pounds to loose before the wedding!):thumbsup2

I wish I could relax a bit more. I am totally stressing. I have e-mailed my co-ordinator and Rosie and keep getting no response (well its been a week). I just want to make sure everything is perfect. I have booked Beaute Speciale, Rev. Kevin Knox, more or less completed the form to send back by e-mail, but the reason I can't finish it is that I need my questions answering .......:headache: I am getting really nervous, I have got my dress, shoes etc, even the restaurant is booked for the evening............ as you can see I am totally :confused3 and just want to get everything sorted out so that I can submit the final details.......I am not getting married until November 2007 as well, but I need to be calmed down a bit I think........is this normal...........

I keep going back and forth between being really lazy and being super stressed!! haha. I think thats normal. As long as you have big stuff booked, you'll be fine.

The only the thing with the dresses though is that you need to give yourself some time to order, ship and then alter. So start looking!!! You'll love, trust me. And maybe it will be motivation to lose a few. I know that once I get my dress in, I will be SERIOUS about working out.

Good luck and I hope your wedding is beautiful!!

hmmm, I smell planning jitters. Believe it or not, you guys are ahead of the game.

Give yourselves a timeline (a reasonable one please;)) and make sure that your questions are answered by then.

Just think you should know that I stressed like that a couple of months ago and now, I am just sitting pretty and waiting for the day to come. all that, for nothin'! sooo, don't worry, give it some time. This is busy "wedding season" and it might take longer than usual to get some answers.

Pixie dust for you...pixiedust:
