Help I'm New...MyPoints Certificates?

O.K. I have enough for a $10 web certificate, how can I use that towards Disney? I was going to get the web card and then turn it in at the Disney store for dollars but they said there is a charge for that?

How do you all use MyPoints to help your Disney trip? I saw Rainforest GC but we really don't care for them. Any and all help would be sooo appreciated! Thanks

Hi Emmy! I always cash in for webcertificates that I used (without paying $6 for a card.) to purchase stuff for WDW like a pair of comfortable sandles I bought online. Now I'm saving webbies for the advance purchase of our tickets to the Not So Scary Halloween Party we'll be attending in October. Some folks here save up so long they can actually use the webbies to purchase Hopper Passes online and even pay on the resort. I have also heard that you can go to a Disney Store and just give them your webbie number, expiration date and get your Disney Dollars, but some haven't had that kind of luck. I suppose you could also call the Disney Store and ask if you can pay for the Dollars with credit card (really webbies) over the phone and have someone pick them up for you....that way you don't have to try to explain to a CM why you don't have an actual card. I think it's up to your Disney Store....some are in the know about webbies, some aren't. You can print out your account statement and take it to the store and explain what it is....that might work. I'd just call your Disney Store and talk to the manager and see what he/she thinks. Then again, it's only $6 to get an actual card that you can take to WDW and use to make purchases.

three times I've taken my webbie # (printed from the webcertificate page) and trotted off to TDS to buy $DD only once did the CM say I couldn't use it that way she needed the card so I just very nicely went back a few days later and got another CM who was very interested in the rewards programs and was more then happy to get me my $DD so like the saying goes if at first you dont' succeed try try again good luck!!
