Help I'm Lost ..........

going to the Word in June leaving from Texas. I've been many time to the World but something just dosen't stick in my memory. I know how to get there been on mapquest but I remeber that before we turn on the main road going into the world thier is a town or community that the light poles and signs and everything is purple. Please tell me I'm not crazy!!!!! I thought it was Kissimmee but on mapquest Kissimmee looks way out of the way to go through to it to Disney World. Please let me know and I've go can give me some good directions please, mapquest one doesn't seem like the way I've gone before.

hmmmm... on Disney property all the light polls and signs are purple and green(or is it Purple and red?!?!)...maybe that's what you remember? I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I don't remember any Poles or signs in Kissimmee being purple.
Do you usually come I-10 East to I-75 South to the Florida Turnpike South toward Orlando to Interstate 4 West to Walt Disney World Resort Exits? I used to live in Panama City FL, and that's the way we used to go.

There are exits for Disney directly off of I4, each park has its own exit, if you miss the exit for the park you want to go to, no worries, take the next one & you will more than likely find your park on that exit too.

if you are talking about a specific community you wish to visit, maybe you are speaking of the Town of Celebration? Celebration is quite a colorful community. If you wish to visit Celebration, take the exit for Hwy 192 East (Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy) & about a mile or so down the road you will see the entrance for Celebration. I think there also may be an exit off of I4 for Celebration as well, but know for certain you can find it off Hwy 192.

Also, there are mile markers on Hwy 192 that are all on purple signs, maybe that is what you are thinking of?
