I remember seeing a display at the Osborne Lights (AMAZING BTW) of a campsite. There were several camp chairs, a cooler, a tripod over a "fire," and I can't remember if there was a tent or not. The items were all covered with Christmas lights.

I'd like to make a similar display for our local park, and am looking for anyone who could give me some pictures of it? I've tried googling, but of course it's like a needle in a haystack, so I thought I'd ask around.

thank you! much appreciate any help you can give.

Hi!

I tried finding the picture that you need; however, I was unable to find it. During my searches, I found three websites that might interest you.

The first one, Sal2009.com - Fort Wilderness, has references to numerous videos of Christmas displays at Fort Wilderness.

http://www.sal2009.com/index.php?key=Fort+Wilderness

When you see a video that you might be interested in viewing, click on the "Watch Video" blue words underneath the description to start the video.

The second one, Fort Wilderness Campground Christmas Decorations - Episode 49, has a video highlighting various campsite Christmas displays.

http://travelwithrick.com/2009/12/18/fort-wilderness-campground-christmas-decorations-episode-49/

The displays start at approximately the 3 minute 25 second mark.

The third website is Disney 4 Dads. The specific topic is: Disney's Fort Wilderness Campers Prove You Don't Need Snow to Have Christmas Spirit.

If you want to view other videos, go to You Tube. In the search box, enter the words "fort wilderness campground christmas" (without the quotation marks), and you will find many Fort Wilderness campsite videos with incredible Christmas lighting displays.

I hope that you can find some great ideas to decorate your local park.

I recall what you are looking for but I just checked and I do not have a photo of it. Try posting on the Photography board, btw.

Thanks Poos Wishing Star. I wonder now if I did see it at FW. They sure had some impressive displays. Thanks for the idea.

Golf4food - I didn't even know there was a photography board! Thanks!

And SandraA9810 and Golf4food - I'm so glad someone else remembers it. I was beginning to wonder if I imagined it or saw it somewhere else. I will definitely let you know if/when I find it.

I'll look at my pics because I may have that one. My parents were full time RVers and I'm thinking I've see what you are talking about...

I'm sorry, no luck. :( Maybe Dan Murphy has a shot of it? You could PM him and ask. :)

Hi!

I am not sure if these are what you are looking for; however, it seems that there was a scene at the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights in 2006 called "Sam's BBQ". Included in this scene were a round picnic table, a cooler (blue, rectangular body with a white lid), a barbeque grill, and a wagon - all covered in lights.

The pictures are located on the following website:

The specific pictures are located starting three rows from the bottom. If you click on a picture, it will give you the full size version.
