Sorry, you are hosed! You're permahooked like me. Heck I even check this site from my PDA when in lectures. I met a nurse today in ACLS with disney pins all over her badge. Can't escape Disney fever

Ok, so I disovered this site in early March, when we were booking a trip for April without the kiddos
ANd have been HOOKED ever since!!
AND!! Thanks to the DIS Boards, we discovered FREE DINING My husband and I looked at each other and thought 'ok, can we do this again and take the boys so SOON??
OF COURSE WE CAN!!!
AND! I can not stay away from the DIS Boards, although I do make sure the houseowork gets done and supper is ready when DH gets home.

Anyway, I may need a 12 step program in the future
But until then, thank you to everyone who takes the time to post their questions <I usually have the same ones> and to those who post all of their experiences. I grew up going to Disney, and took my husband for the first time when we were dating <with all 3 of my sons> 5 years ago and he is hooked on Disney now...I even have him going to Home Depot for LGMH!!!
Our trip in APril without the boys was amazing, too, just like a 2nd honeymoon and whats even more amazing is what we never would have found out about free dining if it wasnt for these boards, so not only are we going again in August <its a complete surprise trip for the boys, they think they are saving for their trip in april > we are considering the disney cruise next year or the year after!!
It has been so fun and, at times, nerve racking, having to plan, make reservations, book airlline tickets ALL WHEN THEY ARE IN BED
Anyway, cant wait until they find out when we are going. We want to just wake them up on the sunday we leave, be packed without them knowing and head to the airport and wait for them to start asking a zillion questions!! They have never flown either. AND, we are taking my HD mom, she has NEVER been to DISNEY!!

And as many have stated its a great addiction to have and yes, you will avoid many things to get those great tips, advice, stories and whatever else from The Dis Bopards!! ((I havent read all the posts - AS I AM AT WORK RIGHT NOW )) I found myself during February vacation avoiding my family so that I could surf the Dis! No laundry was getting done, the kids were tearing the house apart, dishes were sitting in the sink and I was slowing pulling away from reality. EVERYTHING revolved around Disney and The DisBoards!! But all in all - its a great obsession or addiction to have. I can think of far worse thinsg to be doing with my time!! Thanks for the link. It's been awhile since I seen the muppets. It was a good pick me up between the dirty dishes and washing ds baseball uniform again (washed it every day for the past week, playoffs)

I get home from work and I am on this computer until my eyes can't see. My house work is not getting done like I use to. We take in dinner more often. Most of the excitment of going on these vacation are these wonderful boards. Thanks to everyone for all the honest information.

There is such a wealth of information on these boards that it is totally amazing!! I visited the boards religiously before and while planning our April 08 trip to WDW, but now I find my self coming here with "dis-drawls" to help with the anxiety of our next trip being in
2010!! I get my little taste of Disney!! Or "fix" if you will!
