I plan to join soon for out late July trip- can you give me an idea of what he tells you- like does he recommend restaurants or more like what order of rides to do on which day. I am definitely using him b/c it will be hot an dcrowded.
You name it, he probably has an article about it. He is best known for his touring philosophy. Which park on which day. But that is just a small part of it.

He has all the package info, hotel info, restaurant info, where to watch certain events. Lots of that stuff you can find anywhere. He just has it all in one place.

But in my opinion, his strength is in the way he explains how to tour the parks and enjoy your vacation as a true vacation experience.

You are paying for his experience. Not only did he work at WDW for many years, he currently runs a private tour company that caters to the rich and famous who want to see WDW without the wait. So he is in the parks on a regular basis. Able to see first hand how park trends change. He's not sitting in an office writing a book that is outdated by the time it gets to the publisher. he updates things in near real time.

He believes so strongly in his content that he offers a money back guarantee.

Give it a try.

I'm with the other poster...I don't "get" TourGuideMike yet. I payed today and am just overwhelmed by his website. I was trying to figure out what to do because we are switching hotels mid-week and it didn't seem to give me that option. It's too overwhelming and I needed a "frustration" break after 5 minutes.

Yay! I'm not the only one! I paid yesterday and I guess I expected something more customized for my $22. Unless, I'm just not getting how to use it yet. Of course, I'm going to play around with it more, but so far, I'm not too impressed.

I joined TGM right before he became a sponsor here. Now my fear is that so many people will join so that his good advice won't be as good anymore. Too many people will be doing the same thing. :sad2:

The last 2 times we've been to Disney have been during peak season and I had everything planned out down to snacks and naps. This time however, we are going in September. According to touringplan website these days are rated 4's. Based on that do you think it's still as necessary to plan as much as I did the past 2 times? I.e., should I subscribe?

I'm a little confused. TGM doesn't assign number ratings to his predictions. Are you referring to the UG?
