Maybe this is a little like asking a bunch of drunk people at a bar if I should have another drink...(does that analogy make sense? :scratchin ) but I really need people to be honest with me and I am too embarrassed to tell anyone around here yet.

Here are the facts:

DH is out out town alot in March.

No kids at home, and we are not able to plan a Spring Break together.

Found a $99 flight to Orlando.(Everyone see where I'm going with this?)

I have an AP and can afford a few days at a Moderate, should I go? We all went together in January and are going again this summer.

I have some work I can do with my computer. Am I absolutely insane to picture myself doing it in the Florida sunshine with Disney music playing in the background? I've been there alone before so that isn't the issue. I am wondering if I am really out of line for even suggesting this.

Please save me from myself. Part of me feels like an idiot and part of me feels like, heck, I can afford it an no one is going to be home anyway...

Help! :(

Hi...I'm Sandy and I'm a Disney-holic.

Go and enjoy (we did the same thing with a quick trip 8 weeks before our Feb. Vacation, JetBlue had $79 round trip, how could you not).

Check out the solo board and start planning!

Well if it was me... :thumbsup2

How does your DH feel about it? Would he be hurt that you went without him? If not, and you can afford the price and time, I say GO FOR IT!!

I love DIsney and I would jump at any chance to go... but I'm not sure how I would like it if I was alone. I know a lot of people do it and have a good time, I just don't know if it would be for me.

He wouldn't be hurt, he isn't the disney fan I am, and I think he'd probably say, "Go!" But I just hope he doesn't harbor any kind of or resentment that I am playing while he is slaving away. Chances are while I am having fun he'll be at the Albany Holiday Inn (no offense Albany!) eating bad hotel food and never seeing the light of day because of meetings! :worried:

Hi My name is Barb, and I am a Disney-holic!!! Got the chance to go? I say GO! GO! GO! Is there room for me???????????????//// :confused3 :rotfl2:

Goooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see no problem going since DH is also out of town and not that into Disney. Just understand when he wants a break and goes to do one of his favorite activities.

The only crazy thing about your post is thinking that anyone here would try and talk you out of a trip to Disney. Go and have a blast! If hubby has an oportunity for fun inthe future let him go and have fun too!

Everytime the Ding! on our computer goes off, I am there checking for a fare from Philly to Orlando. Darn kids and sports keep messing up my plans.
:rotfl:

Oh, I've never had a problem with doing things without DH or him doing things without me. We've been married a long time and this has never been a problem. He likes camping. I..... :rolleyes1 .....don't! He likes other things that I'm happy he likes and I'm just happy he never was offended I never took an interest in.

He does WDW for us. But he never begs to go.

I think I'm more guilty about planning the trip in between other trips than anything. Now that the kids are older, I'm really taking advantage of the free time, I guess!!!!

:cheer2: :cheer2: Give me a G~Give me a O~Give me a G-O GO!!!!!!

Here's my happy dance for you because I'd LOVE to do what you are thinking of.

  :Pinkbounc :cool1: :woohoo: :bounce: :bounce: :jumping1:

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Why wouldn't you go? :confused3 Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. ;) :teeth:

I'm not one to turn down a Disney trip but if you think you are going to get any work done you are crazy. I took school work along when we went to the keys and even lugged it onto the beach one day, didn't do a bit of it. Also, you need to determine whether you are going to have fun at DW by yourself. If it were me, I would love being able to do what I want when I want but would be terribly bored talking to myself all day.

I don't think it's an unreasonable thought at all. Sounds like a whole lot of fun! You have a lot of 'pros' on your list, what, if any, would be the 'cons'? If you don't have any, you definitely need to go! :)

I'd all ready have my bags packed if I were you. Go & have a great time. Maybe you could bring him back something special - kind of a thinking of you gift. Have a great trip!!!! :thumbsup2
