Hi! :)

Not sure if this helps, but I booked via TCD for direct flights from Glasgow to Orlando Airport and hotel (Rosen Inn for two weeks) and transfers to and from hotel for £1055 pp and we leave in August.

I know you're probably looking for just flights, but thought I'd share anyway :)

Good luck x

We are going mid August MAN-MCO with Virgin flying economy and paid £840 each. I watched the prices everyday from when they were released, they were over £1000 each until mid January when I saw the price above and booked immediately. We did have to book 13 nights instead of 14 though.

Don't rule out pricing a package holiday

I'm going August 14th next year and was set on that date as any later would be too late for my daughter starting High School. I did research and decided I would set a budget of £850 for direct Man/MCO flights and anything lower would be a bargain

Ended up booking a package as their direct VA flights worked out at £740 and I can relax knowing it's all sorted

Just done a dummy booking with Thomas Cook (they must release their flights early). 1st - 15th August £3,073 for the 4 of us.... what do you guys think. It is direct MAN - MCO (not sanford!) I said I would never fly TC again.... im a bit tempted.

EDIT - No! You have to pay for check-in baggage, in flight meals, priority check in..... forget it. SOrry!

I booked our 2014 hoilday we fly 8th September so just outside August but still through I let you know deal we got we paying £2,228 for 28 night stay at rosen inn with direct flys from gatwick also have tranfier from airport and hotel. We got it with trevel city direct.

august 2013 is costing me more than a king's ransom..

if only i could go in january - the price is 1/3 of what i'm paying in august!!!!!

Their last flight next year is 14 july out so no use for us our dates are fixed to the first 2 week in Aug. to suit Aug holidays in Italy (4 coming from there) and my DD needing to go back to school 18th Aug

You can get a bargain if you are in the right place at the right time.

We paid £419 each for Heathrow-Chicago-Orlando with United, we booked last October flying 6th august returning 27th.

Within 2 hours they had gone up by £200 each.

I spent ages looking for the right price but it paid off, good luck.

Well we booked -

Got a bit of a discount to £9100 for Glasgow to Orlando on Virgin 2nd Aug- 16 Aug with a 7 seater and a SUV both with full insurance.

So if I take off travelrepublic car prices (not virgins :rotfl2:) flight part would have been about £910 each. :crazy2: but with so many to sort (another 5 are booking to join us from the Caribbeen) we decided to bite the bullet.

Its just sooooo much more than we have ever paid before even for over Xmas.

Now let the planning begin :cheer2:

You should check again- I'm going 29th August next year.

I know flights are back on on the 22nd Aug. They have just pulled out from july 20th until 22 Aug. The shop phoned their head place and even they couldn't give a reason as to why there are no flights.

Go figure - they pulled the school holiday schedule.

I'm booked now anyway :cool
