Help! I want to start Designing

Hi everyone, I have a few questions.
I want to start designing but I don't know how.
-what program does everyone here use? I have photoshop cs4 at school, but I would like another program to use at home.
-where does everyone get the blank mickey heads?

Good luck I made one attempt and whew!!!! I am not meant to design! God gives many people many talents and trust me, I am NOT a designer...I can't wait to see what you start with...

I use Photo Impact Pro, and I like it a lot. I think most other DISigners use Photoshop Elements. I believe they are about the same.
