I thought I had my days planned for all four parks till they put out the firework schedule for MK.
O.K. here's the deal:
Sept 21-26th but only have 22nd-25th for parks.
Here's my current plan:
Epcot-monday
MGM-Tuesday
MK-wed
AK-Thursday
Then I find out monday the 22nd is the only day that week they are having the fire works, and almost every thread I have read says to STAY AWAY from MK on Mondays.
Yes we could just hop over for the works but that throughs everything out of wack with the other parks fire work shows....
all except AK that is: We could switch AK to Monday then hop over to MK after AK closes but I have also heard monday is not a good day for AK.
How are crowd at AK on Mondays...Really??????

arrggghhh!!!
OK so if any of this makes sense PLEASE suggestions are much appreciated

I don't know about AK on Mondays, but the fireworks, etc, can change still, so it is hard to have a set plan. They just added more parades and fireworks for next week, and the September ones may change too. Granted, July is a more busy time than September, but it is hard to tell. I guess if you're really worried about it, you could change your Monday to AK and plan to go to MK for the fireworks. September is supposed to be a less busy time in the parks, maybe Mk is doable on Monday. I'm sure someone who has been there in September will be able to help.

Don't worry. Keep your plans. September is a very quiet month. I have been there almost every year in Sept. and the parks are virtually empty. Combine that with the very low numbers this year and I don;t think it will matter at all. Have fun!!

I don't think you need a whole day at AK. We left after a couple of hours, but it may depend on what your group wants to do. I'm not sure where you're staying or how easy it will be to Park Hop, but you could still do 1/2 day at MK on Monday and then finish with a half day at Epcot on Thursday.

I went the exact same dates last September. Quite frankly, I'm amazed they're having FITS on a Monday. Last year it was SAturday or nothing. And the only thing I'd avoid in September is Saturdays in MK.

Personally, I'd keep your schedule and hop. Your schedule looks almost text-book, and here's the deal. You'll get so much done in Epcot on a Monday in September that leaving early won't make a difference, the lines are so light. I WOULD anticipate increased crowds for MK that Monday, although nothing like a Saturday (Saturdays bring native Floridians as well as weekend warriors).

Flip over to MK around 6. Get a good spot around 7 (they're donig Spectromagic, I'm assuming?). Make up for it by returning to Epcot Wednesday evening around 6. MK will probably close at 6, so you can take the monorail and be in Epcot by 6:30, catch the countries and Illuminations.

Again, I'd stick with your schedule. It's almost textbook.
