Help, I think I made a big mistake!

I booked a package directly with Disney from 12/7-12/12 and I kept making resort changes because I have a 30% pin code for the time I am going. I decided to try and tolk to a TA and see if this may make my life easier. It seemed at first it did but now I am not so sure. She quoted me a price for the new resort I wanted, then when she actually changed to that resort it was a different price. Then she emailed me the confirmation received from WDW it didn't show my deposit being deducted as I have already paid this when I had booked my trip. Now I can't sign into my ressie on WDW site so I can't make any payments that way nor can I look at my balance due etc. I am wondering can I now change back to Disney's CRO or am I stuck with this TA. I think I made a big mistake.

Unfortunately, I think you are stuck. Once you gave permission to the TA to take over the ressie, they own the ressie, not WDW therefore, giving all control of it to the TA. So, WDW has dropped the ressie and that is why you cannot pull it up on the computer. Any changes or payments must be made to the TA. Most TA's won't give up the control of it back to WDW as they then would lose their commission. You can call and try, but I don't think it would work.
 
The only option you have is to cancel the res and go back. I don't know about this TA you are using, but if you need some reliable ones PM me and I can help.

Most TA's won't give up the control of it back to WDW as they then would lose their commission. You can call and try, but I don't think it would work.

Any reputable travel agent will most definitely give up anyone's reservation, but I think if you do that, you need to rebook on the Disney site from scratch (I'm not sure if a TA is even able to transfer a reservation back to WDW, but your TA will know, of course).

OP, have you tried calling your TA and asking what's going on with the price difference or running the package through the Disney site to see if the prices are identical to what you've been told is the price now?

Oh, I totally agree!!! I have one with AAA and she is fabulous and I'd have used her again this year, but I got a deeper discount doing my own ressie with WDW CRO instead of using her. She said that they would not quote her a price that they were quoting me.
