HELP?? I think I got an upgrade?

We are booked on the October 16th three night cruise. I booked through travelocity and called to see if we had cabin assignments yet. She said we have rooms 2050 and 2048. Which according to the book I have are Category 9....we booked Category 11! When I asked her if they were Category 9....she said no...she shows them as Category 11. Please help! Did I get an upgrade? I don't want to tel lmy family unless I'm sure! Thanks!

I think the book you're talking about is the passporter? I just looked it up and they say that they are category nines. If those are in fact your rooms then, yes, you have gotten an upgrade!

according to DCL's site both rooms are cat. 9

Congratulations! You got an upgrade all right!

When the agent checked your reservation online, it would still show the Category that you booked originally, but you know from the even numbered staterooms that it is an outside room!

Thank you guys for your help! I was looking at the Passporter! I finallly called Disney Cruise Line directly. At first they wouldn't give me ANY information....they said Travelocity owned our reservation. When i explained the situation to her, she decided to help me. And told me we did indeed get upgrades! Who-hoo! I am extra excited now! Has anyone ever stayed in a Category 9? Any advice! Thanks!

Cat 9's are really great. WE have stayed in them several times on both Decks 1 and 2. Deck 2 rooms have a large porthole and the rooms are very convenient to the atrium, shops, dining, clubs, etc.

Just curious. When you booked with travelocity did you book cat 11's at a GTY status? We have a three day booked & just paid off for the 3 day October 2nd and still have no room assignments. Dreams still shows us at GTY cat 11's status. Would be great to at least be able to look up where our rooms are.

Padre Disney: Yep....we were booked GTY status. I called Travelocity yesterday and they had us in cabins. Maybe try calling Disney and see if they'll give you any info? Hopefully you'll get an upgrade too!
