HELP I ruined my shirts!

I printed them out perfectly, trimmed them, peeled off backing, put on parchmant paper and ironed for what seemed like a long time. cooled them and the design is stuck to the shirt but the parchment paper is also stuck to the design! It doesn't peel away! Did I iron too long??? Is there anyway to remove the paper? If I wash the shirt will the parchment dissolve in the wash? I don't want to screw up again so any advice would be appreciated. TIA.

For some reason one time mine did that too. What I did was use water to get it off and it worked. Just use a little at a time and rub the paper of gently. Hope that helps!

This happened when I was making shirts also. I found what worked for me was letting it cool maybe a minute or two but don't let it set. If you let it completely cool, the parchment paper is very hard to get off! I never tried the water trick so hopefully that works for you. I know that when I tried to peel it off after letting it cool completely, part of my design came off too (in the corners).

I wonder if I soak the shirt in water if it will come off?? thanks for the suggestions, any idea what caused this?

pull off the paper gently and wet some qtips and wipe off excess paper, mine did that once and this technique worked like a charm
probably either ironed for too long or let set for too long

I saved the one, but the other I had to scrape the whole design off. I'm going to try again. How long do you iron it?

Thank God that has never happened to me...I sometimes forget to pull the paper off for a long time..I wouldn't know what to do, so thanks in advance if it should happen..
