HELP!! I need your opinion- Southwest

My husband just found out last night that he will be attending a Microsoft Convention in Orlando June 3-8th. Several of the hotel choices were DIsney ones! Soof course the kids and I are going to tag along and get in on a free room! Anyway, here is where I need your help. I have been looking at fares all over the web today, and the best I can find (nonstop) is Southwest for $1323.20. My husbands ticket will be covered by work, so really, the total is $992.40. Because the date is so close and the dates are not really flexible (we are flying 2-9), should I go ahead and book it? What if a DING comes out that is signifcantyl cheaper? I can see that a lot of the good rates are already booked for the flights we want, so I am afraid if we don't book now, then we will end up paying even more.

Thoughts???

If a Ding! comes out a lower fare, you can rebook and get ticketless travel funds to use on any flight within a year. If you are happy with that fare, then book em. All the better if a Ding! (or maybe even a summer sale) comes out with a better rate.

If I have booked with SW Vacations and A cheaper ding came out, can I change the flight to the cheaper one?

Yes you can - we've done it before. They have awesome customer service! Or I should say they do whenever we've had to use their customer service.

You can also check airfare into Tampa - a slightly longer but not-too-much drive to WDW.

FYI, we've been waiting for an Indy ding that same week. Hoping it gets released soon. Fares earlier this week were 79 now they are back up to 147 . Have you checked Air Tran?
