Help, I need to know how to hop between these resorts!

My friend and I will be staying at the Yacht Club, while some of my family will be at Wilderness Lodge and the rest of them will be at the Animal Kingdom lodge.

Now if someone would so kindly let us know how to we get from the Yacht Club to the Wilderness Lodge and the Yacht Club to the Animal Kingdom lodge.

The only direct way is by car or taxi.

In order to get there by Disney transportation you will have transfer by going to a park or Downtown Disney. Parks are quicker but you can only do that if the park is still open.

A taxi will cost about $10 each way between resort.

If Magic Kingdom is open during the time you want to go from the Yacht Club to Wilderness Lodge, take the MK bus from YC then take the boat to Wilderness Lodge.

If Animal Kingdom is open, take the bus from the YC to AK then the resort bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge.

If you have to go to Downtown Disney to transfer then allow at least one hour.

Is there a bus that goes to down town disney from the yacht club? Is that the same thing as the Ticket and Transportation depot?

Another option (when the park is open) is to walk or take the boat to MGM Studios & bus to those resorts from there.

Downtown Disney is the entertainment, shopping, dining area, where Pleasure Island is located. All resorts run buses there until 3am. It is the only thing open after the parks close if you need to transfer from bus to bus.

The Ticket and Transportation Center is near the Magic Kingdom where the monorail transfer to go to Epcot and is a central bus terminal of sorts but is only open when the parks are.

Yes there is a bus from the Yacht Club to Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island.

ahh this hurts my head, lol. Ok what would be the fastest:

YC to downtown disney, bus to WL -or- YC to magic kingdom, boat to WL

YC to downtown disney, bus to AKL -or- YC to animal kingdom, bus to AKL

So I guess what i'm saying is, is going to the parks faster, or going to downtown disney faster?

YC to MK, then boat to WL would be the fastest. The buses to DTD are quite slow and they don't come often between 11am-4pm.

YC to AK, bus to AKL would be fastest too.

To the parks is always faster than going by way of Downtown Disney. Just make sure you are going during a time that the parks are open. After park closing you don't have that option.

I would allow at least 30 minutes by park transfer and at least
one hour going to Downtown Disney.

Transfer at the closest theme park during park operating hours. After the parks close, the only transfer hub available is Downtown Disney.
