Help! I need to get my mom to the Poly !

We've had some health issuses recently and my Mil is now not joining us for our trip. My mom is now coming and because of the short time phrame before we leave ( 8 days ), my mom has to join us at our first resort. We are doing a split stay. She is uneligible to use DME to get to the resort. How can I get my mom to our resort, other than using a cab. We need an low cost option please. Thanks !

Is your mom not on the reservation at the Poly? Or are you just worried about signing up for DME in time?

I'm pretty sure you can sign up for DME at anytime - she just may not get the paperwork/yellow tags.

Otherwise, what about Mears to the Swan/Dolphin and then a cab? Someone may have a better idea.

I always use this: http://southwest.iseatz.com/?int=GFOOTER-PRODUCTS-SHUTTLE Order it online, and print out the certificate to take with. It is for Mears from MCO right to the WDW hotel. You check-in at the Mears podium right next to the ME check-in. They give you a voucher and direct you right over to the lines for the ME. I've done this many times and you ride the same ME bus together.

Where is your mom staying?

Would you like her to replace MIL on your reservation? In which case she can use DME to the resort on or after your check in day.
