Help!!! I need comfortable sandals.

My mom got a new pair of BLACK FIT FLOPS for our Grand Gathering Trip a few weeks ago. It rained one day while we were at the AK and the dye from the Fit Flop straps turned her feet COMPLETELY black. She tried scrubbing them in the bathroom and could not get it to come off. The stains were still there days later. She had to wear sneakers the rest of the trip to cover her feet.

I just wear flip flops..I find comfy ones at American Eagle and Hollister.

i just saw these at sports authority today and wondered how they would be for our upcoming trip... i came searching here and i knew i'd find a DIS'er who had some info on them!
so, do you still recommend them? my crocs athens are my other favorite pair, but i am looking for something new!

Yes, I do still recommend them. They remain my favorite sandals (and I'm happy that warmer weather is coming so I can start wearing them again!).

Keens are the best sandals I have ever worn. The have as much arch support as my good running shoes. I alternate them with my gym shoes, and never have sore feet!
