I am a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding. The wedding is in June. I need to find cheap dyeable shoes because the bride wants them the exact color of our dress!!
Thank you for your help!

Places like payless shoes do dyeable shoes, you just need a swatch of your dress color, to match from their book of possible colors.

All different stores have dyable shoes.

I actually saw some dyeabl ones on shoe buy or zappos not long ago.

I found dyable shoes online pretty inexpensively... honestly though, dyable shoes are really ugly, why don't you hint around that there are much better options ;)

FWIW I was looking for shoes for me to wear with my wedding dress when I found the dyables and ended up with a cute pair of bridal shoes for about $10

Believe it or not, I've seen new dyable shoes at Goodwill for $4.

I'm not sure if someone bought them and decided not to use them or if it was a overrun/overstock from a shoe store, but the goodwill store had boxes and everything.

I personally think they are really SHINY and not very practical, IMHO. I think every color can go with a "normal" color shoe.

I am not crazy about dyeable shoes, BUT, the bride wants dyeables, so thats what we are getting. Please keep your ideas coming on where to find them though!!
Thanks

Payless not only dyes shoes for you that you bought elsewhere but they have a huge selection of dyeable shoes in their stores. They are very inexpensive compared to bridal stores where you will definitely find them at higher prices. Check online with Payless too!

Did you know light colored dyeable shoes can be redyed a darker color? For example if the bride wants dyed navy blue shoes and you have an old pair of pale pink dyables, they can be overdyed blue.

Wow...I didn't know people still did the Dyable shoes. We used to get them for homecomings, proms and weddings...about 15 years ago!

Payless has the cheapest ones and I honestly wouldn't spend a ton on something you probably won't be wearing again.

I'm a MOH in my sister's wedding next month and I was thrilled to find my shoes on the Target website (brown strappy sandals) for $16.99!!

I'm giggling at the conversation between crocs and dyeables for a wedding :rotfl: I am laughing at myself because when I was married 18 years ago, my mom insisted the girls wear dyeable shoes. I just wanted everyone to wear a simple white sandal. It's funny how much power my mom had over me back then!:lmao:

We bought ours at Pickway (now known as Payless) and we had to purchase the shoes at the store and not remove them from the store until after they were dyed. I would check with the store doing the dyeing to be sure they will dye them if they are used or purchased from someother place.

I went to payless yesterday and tried their shoes on. Even the WIDE ones wer NOT wide enough. Anybody have any advice? Where else could I find some dyeables?
Thank you all so much for the help!!
