HELP!! I keep stealing money...

I have a Mickey Mouse bank. I could never bring myself to steal from Mickey! :)

We have a large plastic crayon found it at the $$ store. No way out!! my daughter said, and she is right we are almost to the top and we are going to disney in March/April . We let the kids decide what they were saving for Universal , and now any change found on the floors even the dressers go into the crayon Its actualluy pretty exciting for the kids they know if they fill the bank they will get what they want

Put it in the Laundry room...I am always finding change in clothes, and it is not handy for temptations. :goodvibes

I agree with Mrs. Pete - I had to do that myself. I thought I could fill my change jar faster by adding singles as well as change - I was not realisitc about my budget, tho - So I re-evaluated. Sure less money is going in, but when I was putting more in, it wasn't staying there anyways, so there was no benefit to putting it there.

I also convert my change/found money to Disney Dollars or ING every month.

My change jars & bill box are all WDW memorabilia, which reminds me everytime I look at it exactly what that cash is for.

This is a good idea, but I have a question. Can you use more than one gift card on a purchase? Like, if I'm buying something for $20 and I've got a card with only $10 left on it, can I use it, then use a second card for the other $10? Anyone done this?<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Yes you can do it with several cards, but the problem comes in when you have just a little bit of money left on the card. These cards work a little different than credit cards and if the cashier doesn't know how to do it it will ring up NSF.

If you have $7.81 cents on a card YOU have to tell the cashier how much is left, she can't figure it out. IMO they do it so you leave small amounts of money on the cards because they are such a bother to work. I have 2 in my purse now both w/ balances under $3 and will never use them. So Visa has 3 of my dollars.

I buy a $50 VISA gift card from the local mall every payday (bi-weekly).

How long do you have before these either expire or they start charging you a fee for non-use?

Have you tried using these at a gas station? I had 2 WalMart cards to use at their gas station...one had a very small amount but the pump just kicked off when it got to that amount.

Don't bother with the referral. Earn yourself and each of the kids $50 for opening your own ING accounts with the code from TaxCut. Someone else posted their code and it matches the code I received so you should be able to use it mulitple times. Offer ID 58978755
A couple of quick questions about this -- if I already have an ING account, can I still open one for my ds with this code? I assume I'd have to own the account with him, and I'm wondering if that will make him ineligible for the $50? Also, can I link it to his savings account, or must I link it to my checking?

TIA!!!!
