On Thanksgiving day I am thinking of having breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe and then I am going to try to get dining ressies for Cinderella's Royal Table but if I cannot get reservations for CRT I am a little stuck on where to have dinner in the Magic Kingdom that day so I really need some help.

If I can't get CRT I have two other options for the day:

1. Lunch @ Liberty Tree Tavern and dinner at
Crystal Palace

OR

2. Breakfast @ Grand Floridian Cafe and dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern

(Just so you know, we are on the deluxe dining plan for the first two days of our stay before we move to BLT and then go on the regular dining plan)

Does anyone have any opinions as I am so confused and not sure where to eat that day. And of course there is the possibility of not securing a reservation for Liberty Tree Tavern!
I was thinking of going to Kona or The Wave for dinner but am afraid of crowd capacitiy and the possibility of not getting back into the MK after dinner if we leave. HELP. I AM SO CONFUSED :confused:

My personal opinion would be to do LTT-L and CP-D. I don't mind the dinner at LTT but it's not my favorite meal. It's not that it's bad food it's good food. Personally I don't like a "Thanksgiving feast" while on vacation. I can make it at home!
If you are staying @ GF it might be easier to grab some breakfast there and then head to the park for dinner. Seeing it is Thanksgiving you may want that for dinner. Although it may be a hard ADR to get.
I'd keep trying for CRT if you really want that and just book your back up choices in case you can't get it! Good Luck!

I wouldn't worry too much about getting back into the park due to capacity. We've been to WDW twice for Thanksgiving. We ate at Chef Mickey's and Cape May Cafe - both good. After dinner we went to MK for parade and wishes both times. We had no trouble getting into MK :)

We did Thanksgiving lunch/dinner at LTT and it was great.

Any other day of the year, I would recommend LTT/CP...but for thanksgiving day, I would try to eat at LTT for dinner. I think I would feel like I was missing something if I wasn't able to sit down and enjoy a thanksgiving meal...I'm not sure I would want to do a buffet for that meal.

And the Cafe is great, so breakfast is a good bet there. :goodvibes
