Help! I am looking for knockoff purse?

I want to get my dd a prada or lv or coach purse. Someone around me had a "Party" last year but I guess the women doesnt do it anymore. I got a very nice BB for 45.00..and the walllet for 16.00.

I don't understand why you would want to spend that much money on a knockoff purse. A lot of the fake purses are easily $30 or $40 at these parties and they *gasp* look like cheap knock offs. My sister bought a fake Coach bag not too long ago and it looks awful. I saved for a couple years and treated myself to the real thing and you can definately tell the difference. I know that not everyone can drop hundreds of dollars on a bag, but I would just buy a nice department store bag for a reasonable price instead of spending money on a cheap looking knock off.

Let me try to help you..I have a DB and I paid a lot for it. I take very good care of it and have had it for years...
Now, on the other hand. Not all fakes are bad looking. Ya, some are but not all. The one I got my dd looked real and she thought it was real..She did take good care of it but like most teens..she wanted the new colors and styles..
I would rather pay 40 dollars and get her some other things then 240.00 and that be hehr only gift. Hey, if it falls apart..I know what I paid and you have to know that it is not the quality as a real one. I can buy 6 fakes for a teen for what 1 real would cost. She likes it..she is happy..she thinks its real

I'm not trying to be snotty, I'm just saying that $30 or $40 is too much to spend for a poorly made purse. If they were $10 I could understand it...but not more than that.

jenrose, I totally agree with you! I am hate the fake bags - it hurts the real brand, and it is silly to spend up to $50 on a CLEARLY fake bag when you could get a great bag at Old Navy, Gap or even Target. I always find great Tommy Hilfiger bags at Gordman's for $25, and then I can get a new bag every couple of months. I've been to a purse party, and a friend who bought a fake LV bag had it fall apart right as she held it up to show everyone!

No knockoff advice but sometimes D&B has specials at their website. You might also want to consider ebay. Sometimes you can get a real one there for close to what you would spend for a knockoff.

Please reconsider buying knock-off handbags, you may be contributing to:

Child labor violations...a small child may have stitched your knock off handbag. As a matter of fact, it's likely. And this child may be working 16 hours a day in a sweat shop, making a dollar or two a day, if they are lucky.


Organized Crime...organized crime is deeply involved in the knock off arena. Anything that makes a fast buck is what these people go after, and knock offs are easy money for them. All it takes is a phone call or an e-mail to get the ball rolling to one of many countries that run huge knock off designer handbag and counterfeit product manufacturing companies (sweat shops), and they are in business.


Terrorism...organized crime is deeply involved in knock off designer handbags and thousands of other counterfeit operations because it's easy money. Terrorist are no different. Except the money they get goes right into supporting terrorism activities. Like funding training camps, recruiting suicide bombers (children), and funding more businesses for the same ends.

I'll post this site. I haven't used it, since I don't think it applies to Canada, but you can rent purses like videos here which I always thought was a neat idea! Obviously the vintage Hermes are 100's of dollars a month, but Coach are more reasonable.

Holy toledo. When I moved to fla in 86 I bought a fake LV bag for 50.00 bucks. I thought it was a little expensive but it looked great. And the only difference was the brass lock. Any hoo the bag is still going strong and looks good. So there are some good ones. I understand what the poster means. She wants to get her daughter "the look" of the designer bag. And some of us don't have that kind of money to splurge as much. Anyway I never thought about all the other stuff about funding terrorist and organized crime. .
