Help! Hurry! Auggh!

Called ms today -- yep, they have a 1 br at SSR if we want it for the 4 last days of our trip. But she did advise me NOT to wait, since SSR is limited (trip is in August).


Details: We are going to BCV on Sat, Aug 7 in a 2 BR (on cash), dining out, enjoying SAB. Then moving to BWV std view 2br for 8 nights with SIL, BIL and nephews. They leave on the 16th. We will then check into a std view 1 br. Chances exist that we *could* stay in the same room... or we *may* have to move. No guarantees, other than a 1BR std view SOMEWHERE!

I placed a poll a week or two ago asking: do we try to stay at BWV for those 4 days or do we go somewhere else? SSr is only a few pts more than our std view room, and is appealing because we will spend at least 2 of those remaining days at DTD. Plus, I think the kids will be "bummed" after their cousins leave, and this will give them something else to look forward to -- something new. ON the other hand, there is always something to be said for NOT moving and enjoying where we are planted!

BUT THE POLL I PLACED WAS A TIE BETWEEN STAYING AND MOVING! HELLLLLLLLP!

I keep picking up the phone and putting it down... my elbow is starting to hurt!

Personally I'd move...just to be able to experience SSR and especially if you tend to spend your time at DTD.

The downside is you have to pack twice...but you are there long enough that that doesn't seem so bad.

No doubt about it. I would move to SSR. It will give you something new and exciting to look forward to. Plus, with the time at DTD you will be just a qucik boat ride or walk back to SSR.

Definately do the last few days at SSR!

I'd make the switch too. If you don't mind moving (I don't). It sounds like you really want to move to check out SS and be close to Downtown Disney. Good luck w/your decision

Please don't take this wrong, but I don't see how we can really help you.

There is no "best answer" here. It's simply a matter of which is more important to you...

1. Not moving again during a WDW trip.

2. Experiencing SSR this year.

Personally, choice #1 is more important to us than choice #2.

We figure that we have lots more trips to take and SSR will undoubtedly be one of them.

But that's us....and really has no bearing on your own priorities.

I don't like to move, pack, repack. That's the big reason we cruise so much, DH doesn't like to drive on vacation, and we unpack once and then enjoy wonderful places. So, we would visit SSR, but stay put with our belongings.
