My daughter and I are at our hotel right now & picked up our glow with the show ears in downtown Disney earlier. So of course we wanted to see how they looked on.... We took the little plastic tabs out & they are glowing beautifully BUT I can't turn them off! Anyway to do so? If they are on all night & day, our batteries will be dead by tomorrow's WOC show! There is no on/off switch as far as I can tell. The battery compartment is closed with one of those itty bitty screws. I don't have mini screw driver here.

What to do? Any secret about shutting it off???

Thanks!

There should be a silver button on one of the ears that is the on/off switch.

There's a little silver circle on the edge of one of the ears, just swipe your finger over it ;)

Thank you both!!!! I saw that little button & did mess with it before but couldn't figure it out. I knew the sticker was pointing toward it.

Thank you tons!!!! All good now. I knew that you guys would be there in a jiffy and help me out.

Happy girl now! :))))

I got my ears at DL in July. They worked when I got them home but now can't get them to work. How does the silver button work? Thanks

There's only a short battery life on the ears (like 8 hours or less). You're supposed to push the silver button for a few seconds and it will turn on or off.

I read on another thread the Glow Ears take 3 "AAA" batteries. Hope that helps..

A CM told me that when the on/off sensor stops working and/or the ear lights go crazy, that is the sign that your batteries need to be replaced. If you are planning on wearing them all day in the parks, I would bring 1 or 2 sets of extra batteries, just in case.
