Just tried to make my reservation fo the WL for November. After a long time on hold and after a very lengthy inquiry from the rep, I was finally told that my "package" includes...... I said that I wanted room only. He proceeded to tell me that the cancel policy was 45 days out blah, blah, blah. He didn't seem to know what the central reservations office was or about any cancel policies that were 5 days out (I stayed onsite 5 times in 2002 and it was always 5 days out). I didn't want to book until I talked to you guys! What' up?

I believe that I may have read a post a while back saying that the WDWTC and CRO were at the same number now - only CRO has the five day cancellation policy, do you remember them saying specifically CRO? Also, I read a recent post saying Disney has hired 200 new ressie agents who aren't very knowledgeable yet so maybe that is the problem, I would definitely call back and try for a more knowledgable agent. I had many ps's and ressie adj. on my most recent trip and my phone bill shows it because it seems that cro has gotten a lot slower and if you ask for anything out of the normal you get put on hold for a while till they can ask someone for an answer:rolleyes:

i *think* WDWTC take overflow calls from CRO. so you may have just been forwarded to the other company without knowing it. try back. you should get CRO eventually. just keep trying till you get what you want.

I was on hold for quite some time. I will try tomorrow during the day, when it's less busy.

I seem to get WDTC all the time lately. I usually hang up or ask the CM if they can switch their computer screen over to CRO. I never deal with the travel company.

Unless they have changed policy - again - you can book under either. And a WDWTC reservation agent CAN make a CRO reservation (if they know how.) Call back and try to have your reservation changed to CRO.
