Help! Hardwood Floor cleaning problem

Okay, so this is my first house with dark hardwood floors. They are beautiful, but show every spot. I was cleaning them with an Orange Glo hardwood floor cleaner and one of those mops with the "miracle" pad on it.
Ran out of that cleaner and bought Orange Glo hardwood Cleaner and Polish. Now my floors are streaky and have a dull finish. I tried vinegar and water (no luck) and even tried Windex... still no luck in getting the dull residue off.
Any suggestions?

I would keep trying vinegar and water over and over. Don't use a mop. Use a rag, wash, and then a dry rag.

And then never, ever use another cleaner or prefinished wood floors besides vinegar and water.

You should call the manufacturer of your flooring to see what they recommend. The Orange Glo Polish can seal in whatever dust/dirt that was on your floor. Vinegar and water should be ok but after time, if you have a urethane finished floor, the acid in the vinegar can eat away at your finish.
I would call Orange Glo and ask them how to remove their product.

We had hardwood floors installed last summer and was told to use Polycare on them, the installer gave us several bottles and my sister has ordered us some from Polycare.com....she also has hardwood floors. I am surprised your floors are showing every spot, it must be the finish they put on them. I vacuum/dust them every 2 days, or longer....I only mop them about once a month. I spot clean when needed.

We didn't build this house, so I don't know who manufactured or installed the floors... I will try the vinegar and water route and hope for the best. If that doesn't work, then I'll call Orange Glo.
