We had to cancel our Christmas trip this week - I lost my job in July and we were hoping things would get better but they haven't. :sad1::sad2::sad1:

We booked in May for 12/11 - 12/18 with free dining and went ahead and bought 4 tickets to MVMCP for 12/15.

Does anyone know if I can resell the tickets or do I just have to eat them. If they can be resold, what is the best way to go about it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to post this on the Theme Park Board. They may be able to help you over there.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. My son lost his job this spring and had to cancel out on a Disney Cruise we'd booked to celebrate his 40th birthday. Even though he found a job and is now working he feels it isn't fiscally responsible to go on a cruise at this time. We feel your pain. Hopefully things will work out for you and you'll be back on your feet soon. Good luck!

Have you tried calling to see about a possible refund? A few years ago, the same thing happened to me. I had 2 tickets and Disney did refund my money. I just don't remember who I called...it's worth a try.
Check friends, friends of friends, etc. You never know who may be going to WDW at that time and would like tickets to the party.

Good Luck OP, with both the JOB situation AND getting the ticket situations worked out.

Maybe someone here is interested and you can do it thru paypal or something???

Here is to better times ahead for you and your family!! :wizard:

I don't think the Tickets are refundable -- At least that's what the Rep told Me when I purchased mine about 2 weeks ago. However, the tickets aren't linked to anyone's name like Your Room reservation or Regular Passes would be ---- So selling them on Ebay or another site that allows that shouldn't be a problem for you! You might even want to hang on to them for a few more weeks --- The 15th was about sold out the other day --- They Me "In Demand" once the night sells out through Disney! I wouldn't think You would have a problem selling them somewhere else if You can't return them :)

Good Luck!
