I have written several letters to Norman Noble about our stay at the Grand in October. Some great things, but more important some terrible things from maids and cast members.
1. Is there a website with email addresses for management.
2. Mailing addresses? Not sure my mail is getting in the correct hands
3. Thoughts and ideas? The language I heard would be wrong from a sailor ( no disrespect on Veterans Day)

If you follow Minnie mum's method it will get to the correct hands. You will not get Mr. Noble's email address. If that was known he would be inundated with email so like most managers, not just at Disney, mail and email is vetted through methods like the guest communications email address. You may or may not get a reply but the comments will be seen.

We had a few issues during our stay at the GF back in August which my husband tried to have corrected while we were still there. Unfortunately, he ended up with a less than "cooperative" manager who was more interested in wanting to "compensate" DH, rather than fixing the problem. So...once we got back, DH sent an email thru the Guest Relations email on the Disney website and he received a phone call from a manager in guest relations within a few days. I would send the email for a quicker response rather than send an actual letter, JMHO. Good Luck!

Just a reminder...please do not post direct contact information for Disney employees on the boards. If you wish to share that information privately, by PM or e-mail, feel free.

It would be great if you could write a review / trip report and let others know of the problems - and also the good parts. It might encourage others to write about their problems at the GF, which will help get the problems corrected more quickly. It is easy to dismiss a couple complaints, but when they get multiple of the same problem, they will correct it.

It's always best to try to fix any problem while there. But I know this isn't always possible. I had a huge problem at YC on our check out day. So I didn't have time to deal with it then. But I did email when I returned home and they did take the problem seriously, and spoke with CM in question.

I want planning to check out untill 11:00 but did go downstairs with luggage to airline desk to check it in and get my boarding pass. We weren't gone long, and had the Do Not Disturb sign on door. But when we returned to our room we saw all our belongings were gone, food we were taking for plane ride, jackets we laid out on bed, toiletries to freshen up before leaving, pool noodles we were passing on to a friend, everything gone, and beds stripped :furious: so instead of having a relaxing morning, and breakfast with friends, we had a stressful morning waiting for our Housekeeper to track down everything missing. Unfortunately he said he put the food in the garbage :(. Ugh.

Last year I had a problem at check in being assigned a dirty room. At another resort. Duty Manager was bending over backwards to make it right. He was incredible.

They do try very hard to rectify any problem, so email them. I'm sure in a few weeks you'll be getting a phone call.

You had the do not disturb sign up and came back to your room prior to 11 to find all your stuff gone ???
We go down to load the car all the time (usually early) and have never had them take our stuff and never thought that could even happen ... That would be very upsetting !!!

I really appreciate all of your responses. I was so surprised by the language I heard from the maids. But it is a great idea to post a review of the Grand. The VAST majority of the cast members were AWESOME...a few bad apples

I couldn't believe it myself  and said to housekeeper- that's what the do not disturb signs mean!!! do Not Disturb!!! And to still clear out room when so many personal items and clothing were still in the room.
I got a phone call from the Head of Housekeeping at YC, who assured me she had a talk to the housekeeper, and all housekeeping about this. And of course apologized profusely.
