Help . . . graduation mickey ears!

I need help! I wanted to get the 2006 graduation mickey ears for my daughter's graduation from high school. A week ago Monday I called Disney Merchandising and they were all out. I found a pair on e-bay and bought it on 6/5. Just got an e-mail today from Paypal saying that my money was refunded because the person didn't have the item. Had I known it earlier, there were others on e-bay I could have bought. I just did a search and nothing now. Has anyone recently seen them in the parks? I am going to e-mail concierge (August trip) to see if they can find one and save it for our trip, but I think I'm out of luck. Any other ideas, anyone????

We bought our ds them when we were in the park in april. He wore them on his class trip in May. Some of his classmates wanted to buy them in the parks and they were all out then too. I think as soon as you find them you should grab them. Good luck.

I saw them a couple places on our last trip down about 3 weeks ago, but there were only a few left in the few stores I had them. There were actually two different kinds that I saw. One was more like the regular mickey ears with a small graduation type hat on top that said 2006, and the others were more like the actual graduation hat and had mickey ears on top. I just graduated and was looking for them, but didn't like the way they looked on me (mickey ears never have looked good on me... ) If you can find a way through concierge to have them get the mickey ears for you i'd specify which ones you want.

I was planning on getting the 2007 version. Since it seems that they run out of them quickly, where would be the best place to purchase them? I will not be in WDW until May of that year and I was hoping to be able to wear them before then.
