HELP! get me from HS to Boardwalk then back to POP!

Hi all! hopefully someone can help!

I am wondering the best way to get from HS to Boardwalk?

We'd like to go after Fantasmic ends.

I heard we could walk... is this true? and if so how long would it take and how do we get there?

or are we better of walking? and if so which bus do we have to take?

ALSO

after the boardwalk we need to get back to our resort, POP.. how would we do that? and what time would the buses stop running?!

Yes, you can walk. Bear left when you exit the park. There should be signage. There'll be a boat dock to your right as you approach the path. If the boat is there, it stops at the Dolphin/Swan, then the YC/BC, then Boardwalk, then goes on to Epcot (yes, in that order). Probably about a twenty minute ride. If there's no boat at the dock, or if the line's really long, you're better off walking. It'll take about the same amount of time. Alternative would be - again, if there's a boardable boat handy - debark at the Dolphin/Swan and walk to the Boardwalk.

Boardwalk to Pop: depends on the time. Late enough, there is apparently limited busing, i.e. buses will pick up at the BWI and drop Guests at several specified resorts. No, I don't know more about this. If it's not 'late enough', you can take a bus from BWI to an open park or to Downtown Disney and transfer to the bus to Pop. Or, there's always taxi. It's a pretty short - so, relatively inexpensive - ride to Pop Century.

Not quite right. Go straight ahead as you exit the park. Ignore the path on your immediate left which goes to the boat dock but no further. Then go around the end of the canal, keeping it on your left hand side all the time. The path to the Boardwalk is on the opposite side of the canal from the boat dock.

Because boat stops off at two other docks before it gets to Boardwalk, walking take no longer unless you have little ones slowing you down. When Fantasmic empties, you might not be able to get on the first boat although there will often be a second boat waiting for the first to clear the dock at closing.

As the previous poster said, the walking path is not to the left as you exit the park. The boat ramp is on the left. The walking path is to the right.
Also, if you decide to take the boat, you can get off at the first stop (S/D) and just walk over the bridge to the Boardwalk.

I would absolutely walk to BW, especially after Fantasmic. The line for the boat can be crazy, and the ride on the boat long. I've left HS at the same time as the boat, and made it to BW before the boat docked at the first stop.

There are busses that are hanging out at BW to take guests back to resorts, but this is in the late hours when Jellyrolls closes, like 1am range. If you will be going back to POP earlier than that, then probably your best option is a cab probably like $7-10 tops...
