Help! Gender Reaveal with Mickey

Our ultrasound tech sealed our baby's gender results in an envelope for us to take to Disney in a few weeks. I've spoken with Guest Services, and they told me my plan is fine. I wanted to bring our envelope, a baby boy ear hat, and a baby girl ear hat to Mickey at the Epcot Character Spot. Then, ask a Cast Member if they could peek at the results and have Mickey select the appropriate hat while Memory Maker got all the photos.

Here's the problem. When we were at Disney in January of this year, I could have SWORN I saw baby blue ear hats and baby pink ear hats for purchase in the gift shop. Now that I'm on the hunt for them before this upcoming trip, I can't find one online anywhere. Do these hats actually exist, or am I imagining them? Are they only for purchase in the park shops? We'll only be in Epcot this time, so I'm worried I won't find them if I wait until our visit. Can anyone lend some info?? Thanks in advance.

You could always just buy a Mickey hat and a Minnie hat. Or woody and tink, or.... you get the idea!

I have only seen them at the parks, never online. It might be a good idea to contact Disney Merchandising and see if they still sell them? The last 3 trips I have taken to DL they were out of the pink ones so they might be phasing them out for something new.

Why not check the shop Disney parks app? Don't they have a pretty accurate record of their inventory?

I've been checking the app daily since learning about it a few days ago, to no avail. There's a blog post from a couple years ago linking the hats to shopdisney website, but they're not there anymore either. Someone I spoke with at Guest Services told me they are still sold in parks, but the pink are out of stock often. She just gave me the advice of regularly checking back with the app. I guess at this point I'm just hoping they have them in stock when we arrive :/ I may bring "it's a girl/boy" banners or signs as a backup plan.

Is there a way on any of these boards to connect with people who are visiting the the parks right now to see if someone could purchase and ship them for me??
