Details of trip finished and finalized until I realize that Donald is now at Cape May Cafe with Minnie and Mickey and we have never seen any of these characters live except in the parade
we have tried for months to get Tusker House breakfast on our last day - we have plans to AK that day before we fly out at 7 p.m.
but I cannot get a ressie there

SOOOO

with the added stress of packing up and checking out to get luggage ready for ME that last day (staying at POR) do you think its possible

IF I can get a ressie at Cape May for breakfast that last day

to do breakfast at Cape May AND still do AK before we have to leave? I know a lot of people don't care for AK but we LOVE it

on the other hand, Cape May would be our only sit down that day before we travel until mid-night


how would we get to Cape May from POR and then from Cape May to AK

help please

I think you'll have a tight schedule if you do Cape May for breakfast and then try to tour AKL and make it back to POR 3 hours before your flight. I don't know that it's impossible, I do know that you'll be running a lot.

You can bus from POR to Epcot, then walk to Cape May from there.

Bus from Beach Club to AK

Allow at least an hour for travel to Epcot and another hour to AK. It may take less, but in my experience with Disney transportation it generally takes about an hour to get anywhere.

Good luck getting in at Cape May! Also, don't give up on Tusker House - there are cancellations all the time!

I think it's possible, it'll be busy but possible.

If you don't have park hoppers, take the bus to DHS then walk or catch Friendship to BC. After breakfast, take bus to AK (plan for an hour between waiting and travel time). Spend a few hours at AK, leave by 3pm (at latest) to get back to POR for ME at 4pm.

If possible, take a cab from POR to BC to save time in the morning

we do have hoppers- I am guessing I would want an early ressie for Cape May but not TOO early since we have to pack up and get luggage to the front- so we can take a bus from POR to DHS- just walk to Cape May (not sure what Friendship is) then bus back to AK, bus back to POR

now to see if I can actually get the reservation

The Friendship boats go from Epcot, to the resorts, to DHS and back. From DHS if the boat isn't at the dock already, it'll be faster to walk. There is a walkway on the Boardwalk side of Crescent Lake. Follow the walkway all the way down to the Boardwalk and take the bridge towards the Swan & Dolphin. Then go to your right, straight on to the BC. It's a 15-20 minute walk at a comfortable pace.

If you take the bus to Epcot, remember that you'll have to walk all the way thru, and out the International Gateway. Then it's a 5 minute walk from there.

Mickey is NOT at Capfe May Cafe. It is going to be Donald, Minnie and Goofy. No one seems to be sure that Chip & Dale are no longer there or are staying.

man - maybe I am just better off keeping ourselves open that day instead
eating BF at POR as a snack and then checking Tusker House for walkup that morning. If its not available then we can do the BBQ at AK for lunch before we head back to POR for ME



sometimes the planning freaks me out and on the other hand if you dont do some planning it really can ruin the day
