Help from internet/computer whizzes re:Yahoo

Okay, my browser has started loading the local m.Yahoo...
Complete with some pop-ups, etc...

I hate it!!!

I live an hour from the 'local' city...
I don't care about all the little tidbits/politics/etc of local news from that town. Which is half of what it automatically shows me.

Even if I go into the address-bar and type in Yahoo (without the 'm.') it automatically converts the the m.Yahoo....

Anybody know how I can stop it from doing that.

I swear, I was on a screen earlier that was a tad different, and when I went back to Yahoo from there, it was the regular Yahoo!!!! So, surely it can be done.

Towards the bottom of the page on the right there should be a link called "Return to Classic Yahoo.com"
