im between bwv and bcv. ive noticed a lot more bwv up for resale. im not sure why, is it the noise from the boardwalk or something that ii have not thought of.

Somethings you haven't thought of...
BWV is larger therefore has more to sell(you see more Hondas for sale than Bentleys), BCV is higher demand so sell quicker and are removed, or has a waitlist and some never hit the board.

No worries though, they are both great. Good luck in your choice.

Easier to get into BWV than BCV. Buy into BCV and you can book at 11 months-if you want a change, then you can do the BWV at 7months. Have owned at both, both great. Prefer BCV only cuz of the intimate size vs BWV but BWV has the 'views' that BCV doesn't.

BWV is also a few years older, which means for owners who buy for the short term, they are farther down the cycle. i.e. the typical short term owner might buy when the youngest is four and Disney is a great family vacation. Ten years later the youngest is fourteen, the oldest is in college, and they just don't go to Disney like they used to (this may not be the typical pattern here, where most people on this board are adult Disneyphiles). So they sell (and maybe rebuy a timeshare in Cancun or something).

I disagree that its easier to get into BWV than BCV, because it isn't that simple. The appeal of BWV for a lot of folks is the "view rooms" Either the BW View or the low points Standard Views. Those are (IMO) more difficult to get into than BCV. But if you just want any old room in the vacinity after the 7 month window opens, BW Preferred are likely to be available last.

BWV views are much better than BC.

The point structure at BWV is better than BCV due to the fact that BWV have standard view rooms for less points.

Noise from the Boardwalk view rooms is not that bad if the door is closed, but its so worth it for the view you get.

As noted, both are very good. BWV will be cheaper to buy and potentially cheaper to use (standard view option). It also has the BW view option. I'd buy the best contract that fits your needs unless you are set on one or the other.

I often read about the noise from the BW and really don't get it, unless you go to sleep at 6pm. People complain about the drunks and the games keeping them up all night but I would think the AC noise which is fairly loud would keep them up but nobody complains about that. Try staying at one of the Allstar resorts talk about loud!
