Hi! I forgot my tickets to MVMCP in my room at the WL! I see them under My Reservations on the MDE app. Will Town Hall be able to reissue them for me? I just really don't have the time to go back before the party tonight. TIA!

Can't you just use your MagicBand to enter?

If not, they can reissue them if you show the CC you used to purchase them.

I didn't know that you could use your MagicBand to enter! I thought you had to have the ticket! Is that true?

If you see them in your account you can enter with your magicband. Just make sure you enter through the party entrance if you are going before 7 and do not enter even one minute before 4.

If your party ticket is linked to the MDE Profile where your MB is linked, you can enter the party by using your MB.

If you linked the party ticket to a different MDE Profile to book additional FPs, you'd then need the card to access the FPs and to enter the party.

Last year, I just used my magic band to enter MNSSHP, I would think it would work the same way for MVMCP. But, it was also the last day of my vacation, and I did not have any park days left. I only mention that, because I have read other people on here say that you need to make sure that it uses your party ticket and not one of your park days. They mentioned that you can stop at guest relations to prioritize that ticket before you enter. If you don't do that, I would make sure that you enter at the correct place, where they are taking people in for the party only, and make sure it's at least 4pm.

I'm curious if those who say not to enter before 4:00 have some specific cases where entering through the party entrance at 3:45 when it opens caused a problem. We did not have a problem with it last year.

Someone posted here recently that they used their magic band to enter shortly before 4 (at the urging of a CM) and it used a day off their regular ticket instead of the party ticket.

That's not to say it always happens like that. But the only way to assure it takes the party ticket instead is to use a party entrance after 4 PM.

But the person who entered before 4pm was using a Conference ticket for entry from 4pm on.

No one has reported problems with party tickets as the tapstiles are set for party entrance only and usually open before 4:00.

You should always make sure that your party ticket is prioritized higher than any other ticket entitlements, if in doubt. I personally would not risk ticket tagging prior to 4pm, although I would go ahead and transfer over and back check etc prior to that time.

Also, anyone who forgets their tickets, if you purchased online and have any sort of confirmation number or email, go to the ticket window, and they can be reissued there with either the credit card used to purchase, or confirmation number and of course, always have valid photo id for the will call reservation. if its in MDE or linked to a MB, you can have them double check at the window, but likely, you are good to go.

Tapstiles is a funny term to me. Its actually "Touch Points".

Thanks again to all for your replies! Just wanted to share the outcome:
First off, I had spent the day in MK anyway so I don't have any feeback on entering before 4:00pm. I did however go to Town Hall and a CM did just as others suggested here: she used my MagicBand to determine that our tickets were indeed linked and was able to give us our MVMCP wristbands right then and there! What a huge relief!

Also the party was awesome! :santa:

This will be our first xmas party (first trip to WDW-lots of firsts). I am assuming it will be pretty packed in MK as people are trying to get their fix in before the park closes to non-party guests. We had planned to do a different park in the morning and head to MK around 6, is this a valid strategy or do we need to be in the park earlier (we have 2 full days dedicated for MK other than the party)?

Are you planning to meet any of the high demand Christmas characters?

I would actually suggest getting to the park as early as you can. We always enjoyed being deep into the park (usually enjoying a nice TS meal) as the 4 PM shuffle started.

Also, FYI, should you loose your ticket and be saying off site Guest Services can reissue it for you if you just show them your confirmation email. This happened to us for Halloween and was easily rectified.

Janet, characters are the last thing on our list for priorities-we are lucky to see so many at DL, but we might head over earlier now-thanks.

You'll be fine either way if you don't care about the characters. But I do think it's a more relaxing experience to go in earlier and miss that time of the day on Main Street when so many people are arriving and leaving all at once.

I hope you have an awesome trip and can't wait to see the shots you come back with!
