HI there
I am planning on going to Disney with my two sons 3.5yrs and 5 years on NOv 11 for 1 week. I and not staying on site (as a good frined gave me her timeshare - Orange Lake) so I will rent a car. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on the "must sees" for my boys and when I should do these activties (certain days better than others??). I know I want to do Magic Kingdom, and my sons love animals so I was thinking AK too. However, both boys adore fish, dolphins sharks so would love Seaworld I think, and they both would be thrilled to meet Buzz Lightyear and crew (which I understand is at MGM)....so I'm worried all that is too much and we will be exhausted. Are there some parks you can just do for 1/2 day? Things we should skip? Any suggestions on travelling solo with two young kids?? Appreciate all your help and advice!!Thanks

We just returned from Disney with our two year old son. It seems he has a lot of the same intrests as your children. A few musts for you would be:
Magic Kingdom
-Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin (we rode this 11 times)(Buzz can be located across from the ride)
-Mickey's toontown Fair
-fantasyland
-Frontierland- Woody and Jessie are here
-Dream come true parade
-Wishes at night
MGM
-playhouse Disney if they like the characters
-meeting various characters around the hat
-Hollywood and Vine play and dine( Jo Jo and Galiath and Little Einsteins)
-my son did not like the Indiana Jones
Epcot
- the only things that my son enjoyed here was Mission Space and Turtletalk with Crush
Animal Kingdom
-He enjoyed meeting the characters and the animals
You may be able to do half days at MGM and Epcot if they don't like a lot of things in those parks. Just judge what you think is the most important for you and your boys. Have fun!

Hi. I went alone with my three kids, then ages 4, 3 and 6 months. My trip report is in my signature if you want to take a look. I booked heavy on the character meals, which was nice because it guaranteed we'd see some characters, but it didn't leave as much time for all we wanted to do, as we moved kinda slow and all three wanted/needed the stroller.

So my biggest tip would be to not overbook yourself and to be sure you have a stroller. We took the bus system, I'm guessing having a car may make your life a little easier as you can go as you please and don't have to fight lines for the bus.

Have a magical journey and good luck!

ETA - MGM was a huge hit for the kids, best was the cars parade, it's a must. My son was jumping for joy at each new vehicle passing by.
