I have stayed at the RPR and I have a family of 4 with 2 boys the same age and a standard 2 queen room was fine for us but a little small but I believe others have said PBH has larger room but we are always on a budget and RPR is in our price range.
RPR is known as the family hotel
The hardrock is known for family but from what I have read teens like it more
PBH also from what I have read is more for adults but all three familys love.
the closest walk tothe studios side is the hardrock 5 mins
Closest to IOA is RPR thier pathway comes out next to Margarittaville and to the left is a bridge that leads to IOA a 7 min walk
PBH is the farthest one a 15 min walk
As far as pools when you stay onsite they incourage pool hopping which mean you can check out all three hotel pools
the web deal is good and alot like me suggest you go to loews hotels site and book thru them and the deals are just as good which are the super saver rates.
I also have found AAA rates to be high righ now but I would join just to be able to use the card for the dicounts you get by showing it
Hope this helps :thumbsup2

I would recommend the Hard Rock in a deluxe room (for the extra space). I think the girls would love the atmosphere.

we've stayed at hrh and rpr. our 13 yr old son enjoyed the hrh best. by far easiest walk to parks, by far, the "loudest" of the hotels. but you know what--any of them pick will be great. we go about every 3-5yrs, and worry and fret in our planning on where to stay, but all the onsite's are great--don't worry and enjoy!!

I have to agree. Its hip, its the closest to the parks and the girls will LOVE the pool. But like Lawrence said, you can pool hop!
