Hello all!!! I am taking my 8th grade DD to Universal May 2 - 5 and wondered if there was any good advice for us. IE, how are the crowds, where should we stay(trying to get cool pool but not too expensive for us...$75-110), which park to go to when, etc. We have the 7 day unlimited tickets from Undercover. Thanks for your help!!!!....DM

Even with a Supersaver rate, staying on-site at one of the Universal hotels is going to be about $250/night. You would probably be better off staying at one of the neighboring hotels (check out this link for a list). Most offer free transportation to the parks.

As for advice on parks, etc, it would all depend on what your daughter is into (coasters, etc) ... I would suggest taking a look at the Universal website and deciding on what you'd both like to see/do ahead of time, then make your plans from there. Getting to the parks at opening is definitely a good idea.

usually the 7 day unlimited ticket covers both parks so if it covers admission to IOA & US go to both hotel wise see about the hyatt hotel right over there by holiday inn:thumbsup2
