Help for my nephew.

Hi,
I thought this would the best place to start. My 23 year old nephew called me last night for some lodging advise. He is planning on a trip to Universal Studios in March and is looking for a inexpensive motel near the parks. He called me because he says I am the Disney trip queen(lol) and thought maybe I could help him with this impromptu trip. I have never been to Universal so I do not know the area at all. Could someone suggest a couple of places near the parks? If they have transportation to the parks all the better. I would really appreciate all the help you could give me. Thank you in advance.

There are several and if he has a AAA card he can go on thier site and find some really great rates.
We stayed at the Doubletree on Major Blvd which is across the street from universal and about a 10 minute walk and we are staying there agian this July for two days for about $70.00 to $80.00 a night and there is also a bestwestern up the street on Kirkman that is pretty cheap and a few on Caravan Ct across from the Doubletree.
