I stupidly didn't book by the 15th and lost out on the MYW ticket upgrade offering. (Darn holiday stress!) I'm trying to plan a small "Intro to Disney" trip for myself and my 2 toddlers. I want to go before my little one turns 3 (Feb 22).

Any suggestions for when/if other offers/discounts may become available? Suggestions for best dates for lowest price and volume in parks? I'm completely flexible on dates of travel and length of stay. We only plan to visit MK and MGM this trip.

I have AAA, don't have Disney Visa...would it help if I got one?

Also, what's the best way to plan 1 day base tickets so that my little ones can do Character breakfast at MGM & Fantasmic that night -- and MK Crystal Palace lunch & fireworks that night.

Words of wisdom anyone??
Oh and I've only stayed at POFQ and GF before. Good suggestions for great pool, affordability and convenience? Remember, mom alone with 2 toddlers. LOL

Sorry for being so naive! I'm a newbie. Parents' never took me to WDW as a child, I made up for it by getting married there. But I've still only been THREE times. No way are my kids missing out. :grouphug:

thanks ~ shari

This is going to sound crazy...but I am scared to call Disney. LOL

Back in 2000 when I was calling a lot to help with arrangements for our wedding guests, any time I called I got very by the book autobot responses.

I know others have spoken w/ great CMs who have been very helpful so my fear is probably so stupid. I feel like I have to know all my specifics before calling them.

I'm working with AAA right now and they're somewhat helpful. I guess I'll just get over it and call.

Thanks for making me face my fear -- LOL!

I would call the WDW travel camp. see what they have. I bet there is somwthing there. I honsetly sometimes I act like I am clueless and going on my forst trip just beacuse I know they will be more helpful and they act like they re giving you the inside track for your fist magical trip... lol
