Help for Illuminations

I have a 7:20 PS at Epcot's Garden Grill on Monday. Will we be able to make it to Illuminations? Any suggestions as to where we could view it should we have a few minutes to surrey to find a spot? Perhaps we shouldn't try to do both on the same night?

It may be hard to do them both, unless you try to change your dinner time to an earlier time. When we went we found people were staking out spots 1 1/2 hrs before !!!

Yeah, I would like the kids to see Illuminations, but I don't think we would be holding a spot for over an hour even without the PS. Still, if we can't do both I guess we can cancel the PS. I waited too late to get a good time.

You can watch Iluminations from basically anywhere around the World Showcase, and you don't have to be sitting at a spot for an hour before!

when u pick ur spot for illuminations, make sure u pick a spot with the wind to your back (watch which way the torches blow around the lagoon). that way you can see the show because the smoke wont be comeing at you
